How to Use the MiBrush® Electric Tonsil Stone Remover

1. Fully charge the device.
   Before first use, fully charge the electric tonsil stone remover via the micro-USB connection (5V / 0.5A).
2. Insert the suction probe and filter.
   Place a piece of disposable filter cotton into the suction probe and attach the probe securely to the device.
3. Ensure good visibility.
   Preferably use a mirror and proper lighting. The included 5x magnifying mirror and mouth light help you clearly view the tonsil area.
4. Rinse the tonsils if needed.
   Use the rinse syringe to gently flush the tonsils. This can help loosen small stones or make them more visible.
5. Always start on the lowest setting.
   Turn on the device and begin with the soft mode. If needed, you can switch to normal or strong.
6. Remove the tonsil stone.
   Carefully place the suction probe near the visible tonsil stone. Let the vacuum gently draw the stone toward the opening of the probe. Maintain contact for a maximum of about 5 seconds, then take a short break before trying again.
7. Use additional tools if needed.
   If a stone is already visible on the surface, you can use the spoon-shaped tweezers. The tongue spatula can help hold the tongue down for better visibility.
8. Clean the device after use.
   Remove the filter cotton and rinse the suction probe with water. Use the included cleaning brush if necessary to clean the probe thoroughly.

1. Does removing tonsil stones hurt?
   In most cases, no. When a tonsil stone is visible and loose, it can usually be removed without pain. The device uses suction, which means you don’t need to apply pressure to the tonsil like with manual methods such as a cotton swab or finger.
2. What if I can feel the tonsil stone but can’t see it?
   This is common. Tonsil stones can be located deep in the tonsil crypts. With the 5x magnifying mirror and mouth light, you can get a better view of the back of the mouth. The included rinse syringe can also help bring small stones forward, making them easier to see.
3. Which suction setting should I use?
   Always start with the soft setting. This gives you the most control when using the device for the first time. If a tonsil stone is more firmly lodged, you can switch to normal or strong. It is usually not necessary to start with the highest setting.
4. How long can I keep the suction probe on the tonsil?
   Use the suction probe briefly and in a controlled way. Keep it on the same spot for a maximum of about 5 seconds, then take a short break. This helps prevent irritation of the sensitive tonsil tissue.
5. What should I do if a tonsil stone doesn’t come out right away?
   Sometimes a tonsil stone sits deeper in the tonsil and doesn’t come loose immediately. In that case, you can gently rinse the tonsil first using the rinse syringe. This can help loosen the stone or make it more visible before using the suction probe.
